On May 18, 2024, Max’s Angels and Esky Rods hosted the 4th Annual “Reelin’ For The Cause'' Kids' Fishing
Tournament at the Edward B. Knight Pier. The event was an enormous success with a wonderful turnout from
the community. Incredible memories were made, fun was had by all, and Reelin’ For The Cause has become an
annual event for our community to enjoy. Thanks to your generosity and support, a $55,000 donation was
made to Nicklaus Children's Hospital in honor of Harrison Axel Esquinaldo. A total of $125,000 has been
donated to Nicklaus for CHD awareness to date.
We are now seeking sponsors for our 2025 tournament on April 26th. All sponsors are greatly appreciated
and will be featured on our banners and online. Sponsorships over $500 will also be featured on our t-shirts.

Reelin’ For The Cause was created in honor of Harrison Axel Esquinaldo, who was born on May 18, 2016. He passed away when he was 11 days old due to complex congenital heart defects. Max's Angels was created in honor of Max Thomas Scanlon, who died at his birth on October 10, 2019. The families of Harrison and Max strive to honor our sons while helping other families who are also facing this unthinkable tragedy.
